The Church provides Fethat (Absolution) for the departed, acknowledging that love and prayer transcend the physical world. We continue to pray for the souls of our loved ones during Memorial services (on the 3rd, 40th, and annual dates).

• Scripture: "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord" (Revelation 14:13).

• Theology: St. Ephrem the Syrian reminds us that the righteous rest in hope, awaiting the great Resurrection. We pray for God's mercy to grant them eternal peace.
